GF (George Fischer) - Manual Pipe Peeling & Chamfering Tools - Used for preparing PP, PP-R and PE plastic pipe prior to socket fusion welding

The peelers are used for shaving a thin layer of material off the outside diameter of the oxodised pipe surface. The tool also puts a 15° chamfer on the end of the pipe too. Thus preparing the pipe for a clean weld and creating a good interference fit from pipe to fitting.

They are used for such pipeworks systems as George Fischer PP & PPR (AQUASYSTEM brand). Socket Fusion Pipe Jointing.

This helps to clean and prepare the pipe for an interference fit prior to welding a socket fusion joint - and can also be used to peel pipework prior to electro-fusion jointing
