The peelers are used for shaving a thin layer of material off the outside diameter of the oxidised pipe surface. Thus preparing the pipe for a clean weld and creating a good interference fit from pipe to fitting.

They are used for such pipeworks systems as Aquatherm and Wefatherm PP-R (PPR) Socket Fusion Pipe Jointing.
