160mm HDPE Drainage Butt Fusion Welding Machine

For the welding of pipes and fittings in HDPE, PP & PVDF

Size Range: 40mm - 160mm (Pressure Range: Up to 10 Bar or SDR 17)

Voltages: Available in 110v or 230v

These units are used for butt welding of Geberit, Polypipe Terrain, Valsir, Akatherm, Coes & Wavisolo HDPE Siphonic Roof Drainage Rainwater Pipework Systems in accordance with manufactures instruction.

Machine consists of the following:-

• Basic Machine (with spring loaded pressure regulating device)
• Pipe End Planer (with electrical locking device and safety micro switch)
• 160mm Butt Fusion Welding Plate (Removable to use manually if required)
• 160mm Main Steel Clamps
• 8 Sets of Clamp Reducer Inserts: 40mm, 50mm, 63mm, 75mm, 90mm, 110mm, 125mm & 140mm
• Spare Set Blades for (Pipe End Planer)
• Steel Carrying Case (Flips over to double up as a workbench)

Method:

In butt fusion the pipe ends to be joined are brought together in a dedicated butt fusion machine. The end faces are squared up by planning with a mechanical trimmer, then heated with a thermostatically controlled non-stick heater plate. When molten, the faces are pushed together and allowed to cool under controlled pressure.
