Plastic Welding Rod Scraping Tool

Used for preparing/scraping Plastic Welding Rod prior to hot air, hot gas or plastic extrusion extrusion welding as in accordance with DVS Standards (German Plastic Welding Standards).

The tool takes a thin layer of material off the surface of the plastic welding rod. Thus removing any contaminates off the surface of the plastic welding rod and making it free from oxidization. Used in conjunction with our Plastic Sheet Scraper to prepare the surface of the plastic parent material.

Left Side of the Scraper scrapes weld rod sizes:-

• 3.5mm Triangular
• 5.7mm Triangular
• 7mm Triangular

Right Side of the Scraper scrapes weld rod sizes:-

• 3mm Round
• 4mm Round
• 5mm Round
