Forsthoff DB 50mm Webb/Tape Welding - Hot Air Welding Machine

The new FORSTHOFF-DB automatic welding machine is another new model in the FORSTHOFF automatic welding machine range.

The FORSTHOFF-DB automatic welding machine is a very powerful device for the welding of 50 mm webbing.The machine provides a heat output of 4000 W, 230 VAC, which is continuously adjustable (electronically) up to 700 °C.

The drive unit is equipped with a strong motor and a heavy housing, which guarantees a speedy drive and a strong contact pressure. The device starts automatically after the welding head/nozzle pivots into position. In addition, the housing of the automatic welding machine is bedded through a three-point bearing, which compensates for small unevenness’s of the welding base. A removable weight that sits in the machine housing can be added if required.

The FORSTHOFF-DB reliably welds 50mm straps with ease. The strong hot air fan with in the FORSTHOFF Tube design produces a gigantic air supply of 600 l/min. Our specially designed heat shield prevents the webbing from becoming distorted when sat in the webbing unroll device mounted on the machine.

The machine can be used for welding weldable PVC webbing for strengthening pvc coated textiles/sheets for the following applications:-

• Curtainsider trucks (Strapping)
• Signage, banners and building wraps
• Biogas and general agricultural covers
• Tensile structures Marquees, tents and big tops
• Swimming pool covers
• Oil retention inflatable booms 

A quicker more cost effective and flexible alternative to standard high frequency welding.

Please Note: Running the blower on top heat constantly can significantly reduce the life span of the ceramic heating elements, which are not covered under the machine warranty).
