Plastic Sheet Line Bender/Sheet Heater c/w: Top & Bottom Single Beam Heating Element - 1.5 Mtr

This ensures exact and reproducible heating of all thermoplastic material. - Can be used to produce Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Protection Screens for shops, offices, pubs, restraunts etc...
 
Easy to use workbench plastic line bender/heater is ideal for the heating and manual folding/bending of the following plastic materials:
  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • PE (Polyethylene)
  • PVC (Poly `vinyl chloride`)
  • Acrylic - PMMA or Poly(methyl methacrylate)
  • PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate)
  • PC (Polycarbonate)
 
The heating temperature is set and monitored by a digital thermostat.
 
The Model LBTB150 Plastic Line Bender is built on an aluminium frame and has black heat emitters as its heating system.
 
The advantage of a top heater means it can simultaneously heat both sides of a plastic sheet
 
This enables the machine to heat up to 12mm thick material.
 
There is also a digital timer with an acoustic alarm signal, this indicates when the sheet is ready to remove.
 
A Teflon coated heating sword can be fixed to the top heater.
 
This allows the simultaneous heating and butt welding of PE and PP sheets 6mm thick.
 
Please Note: Minimum recommended bending length is 7 x the sheet thickness `as recommended by most sheet manufacturers`.

PLEASE NOTE: This machine is only for applying localised heat into the plastic sheet only. This then makes it pliable for bending or folding. This bending or folding can then be done manually by the user. It is then possible for the user to set the specific angle he wants to achieve by either using one of our Manual Bending Tables (see related products) or by producing their own former, clamp or jig in order for the heated sheet to cool or set.
