These ceramic element have an inbuilt outer insulation sleeve or mica sleeve and can be used as spare elements or replacement elements for the Type 5000 Tools

The FORSTHOFF heating elements are easy to replace - the 3 pronged element plugs and unplugs into the main housing of your plastic welding gun
 
To relpace the element:
  • Loosen 4 screws on main nozzle of welding gun
  • Remove main nozzle
  • Unplug heating element without twisting
  • Reverse the procedure to fit the new element
