Weldable Anti-Vandalism (Anti Slash) Security Profile/Tape/Cable for Side Curtain Vehicles/Lorries HGV`s`S

Application:-

The weldable 25 mm Wide PVC Anti-Vandalism Tapes/Profile (with 1.5mm Steel Wire) can be used to secure loads against theft.

More and more transport companies have to deal with the theft of their loads, which culminates in insurance claims, downtime etc...

The transport company is also left with a PVC Tarpaulin/Side Curtain that is slashed or cut up.

A good method to combat the damage is a weldable PVC tape with a 1.5mm steel cable in the centre of the tape. This is then welded onto the inside of the PVC textile side curtain.

This product can also be applied to any form of PVC screen. Such as: tent walls, advertising banners, market stands, etc...

Insurance:-

Insurance companies in the U.K.. and France have approved this method of welding as an anti-theft device. Insurance premiums are also reduced in several other European countries if this method of anti-vandalism welded side curtains are fitted to the road haulers trucks & lorries.

Specifications:-

The 1.5 mm galvanized steel wire is covered with plastic and is available in 3 different colours. The 25 mm wide plastic profile can be applied on the tarpaulin with our Forsthoff DB Hot Air Welding Machine (fitted with our Anti Vandalism Welding Kit - See below for related products). The profile is made of a soft PVC and is extremely flexible making it suitable for the application.
